DNA typing is required prior to offspring being registered for the following: all stallions for which the first Stallion Service Report is submitted for breedings after the 1995 breeding season, any stallion breeding one or more purebred Welsh mares after the 1999 breeding season, and any Mare who’s first offspring is being registered if born in 2015 or later.
